Description
50years of Emirati – Egyptian relations
The Emirati-Egyptian relations are based on solid foundations that date back to when the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan led the unification of the UAE in 1971, and with the guidance and tireless efforts of the wise leadership, these relations continue to remain strong.
Characterized by mutual respect and a fraternal relationship that reflects common values between the two countries and their people, the UAE and Egypt have worked closely together to further increase alliances across various sectors, including economy, politics, education, media, and culture. These ongoing relations between the two nations serve as a model for bilateral relations between Arab countries.
On this occasion and under the theme ‘Egypt and UAE… One Heart’, Emirates Post Group in collaboration with Egypt Post issued joint commemorative stamps in celebration of 50 years of bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt. This stamp issuance echoes the five decades of cooperation and cohesion between both countries and their peoples.
