Sharjah Stamp Exhibition 2019
Exhibitions are considered main tool to promote philately being a platform for all pillars of the hobby from philatelists, dealers, postal administrations, auction houses, and accessories suppliers under one roof. From this point, it was mutual understanding between Emirates Philatelic Association and the Mega Mall Sharjah to organize stamp exhibitions, which will gather all stamp lover periodically.
The first edition of the Sharjah stamp exhibition was held in 2010 by hosting 10 best international Arabian exhibits, followed by the second edition in 2011 to host the top ten exhibits from Arab exhibitors internationally, by the time the next edition was ready to have the Asian international stamp exhibition in 2012.
This continued year after year with new themes, which the organizer founds suitable to upgrade abilities of the philatelists and participants to improve their exhibit skills, and to achieve this goal, the organizers hosted philatelic seminar, auctions and workshops and selected suitable candidates from the philatelists to upgrade their skills to take role in organizing exhibitions and trained them to be international commissioners and jurors.
In support of 10 years of Sharjah Stamp Exhibition, Emirates Post has issued a set of commemorative stamps in two denominations.
