Emirati Women’s Day
Celebrating the remarkable achievements and contributions of Emirati women to society, Emirates Post Group has issued unique commemorative stamps on the occasion of this year’s Emirati Women’s Day. The theme for this year’s celebration is ‘We Share for Tomorrow’, a slogan thoughtfully selected by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.
This year’s theme is also inspired by the year of sustainability slogan ‘Today for tomorrow’, introduced by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. which designates 2023 as the year of sustainability. EPG, through its commemorative stamps, highlights the UAE’s commitment to empowering women and acknowledging their pivotal role in realising the nation’s vision for addressing sustainability challenges, including pioneering solutions in areas like energy and climate change.
The commemorative stamps were photographed by Ms. Alia Sultan Aljoker, an Emirati artist and photographer from Dubai.
