Description
54rd EID AL ETIHAD
United Arab Emirates
Emirates Post has issued a set of distinguished commemorative stamps in celebration of the United Arab Emirates’ 54th Eid Al Etihad.
In honor of the legacy of the late Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and inspired by his visionary leadership in building and developing the United Arab Emirates, the new logo embodies the spirit of unity and solidarity that he instilled in the hearts of the nation’s people. The logo draws inspiration from the early designs of street signs that Sheikh Zayed personally contributed to shaping. It is available in three versions: a primary version without a frame, a framed version, and a negative version with inverted colors.
The design is rooted in the concept of connection and cohesion, where each element overlaps and integrates to form a unified visual composition that reflects the core values of the UAE—unity, cultural diversity, and shared ambition for a prosperous future. The visual composition also celebrates the unification of the seven emirates through cultural and natural symbols representing each one, such as the palm tree, the dhow, and the sun—together symbolizing harmony and national togetherness.
The design of the number “54” is inspired by UAE vehicle license plates, symbolizing constant movement and connection within the community. Eid Al Etihad is a momentous national occasion that reminds us of the strength of our unity, the richness of our heritage, and our collective commitment to shaping a future worthy of generations to come—remaining true to the vision and legacy of our founding leader.
