Sharjah International Book Fair 2024
Emirates Post, in collaboration with Sharjah Private Education Authority, has issued a set of commemorative stamps aimed at further highlighting the cultural progress of the United Arab Emirates.
In 2023, the Sharjah Private Education Authority announced an innovative competition to design a postage stamp celebrating the Sharjah International Book Fair. Private schools in the emirate were invited to participate, providing students with the opportunity to express their artistic and cultural creativity. Following a meticulous selection process of 200 submitted designs, the best models that embodied the spirit and unique heritage of the fair were chosen.
In 2024, the commemorative stamp for the Sharjah International Book Fair was issued, highlighting the Authority’s role in promoting culture and knowledge among the youth. This initiative represents an important step toward strengthening the connections between new generations and cultural heritage, encouraging them to actively participate in major cultural events.
