Description
Arab Postal Day”
Emirates Post, in coordination with Arab postal administrations, has issued a joint commemorative postage stamp in celebration of Arab Postal Day, which falls on the 3rd of August each year. This initiative underscores the postal sector’s role in serving communities and supporting socio-economic development over time.
The design of the 2025 joint Arab commemorative stamp traces the evolution of Arab postal services from manual beginnings to today’s AI-enabled operations. The human arm symbolizes the traditional origins, marking the first spark of postal exchange between countries around the world. In contrast, the robotic arm represents the current era, highlighting the development of postal systems and the technologies used in mail processing and tracking. The envelopes shown in the design represent one of the core postal services (letters). The electronic signals and the blue background symbolize intelligence and technology.
The stamp also features a QR code that reflects the sector’s digital progression and enables interactive functions, including digital verification of the issue data and access to expanded information on the design and release.
This issuance reaffirms the centrality of postal and communication services in the Arab world as bridges to global markets and drivers of inclusive development. It also highlights the importance of deepening Arab cooperation in information and communication technologies to enhance, integrate, and improve the efficiency of postal services across the region.
