50th Anniversary of the Federation of Inter-Asian Philately (FIAP)
The Federation of Inter-Asian Philately (FIAP) marks its 50th anniversary, commemorating its establishment in Singapore on 14 September 1974. FIAP is a non-profit, non-political federation representing philatelic societies across Asia and Australasia, dedicated to supporting the growth of stamp collecting and facilitating knowledge exchange and cooperation among its members.
To commemorate this milestone, Emirates Post, in collaboration with the Emirates Philatelic Association, issued a commemorative stamp collection celebrating FIAP’s five-decade legacy and its role in strengthening collaboration among regional philatelic societies and supporting specialized exhibitions.
The stamp issue was launched during the Dubai 2026 World Stamp Exhibition, held in the UAE from 4 to 8 February 2026.
