Emirates Post has issued a special set of commemorative stamps, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, highlighting the UAE’s commitment towards a future-ready, flexible education system that empowers the nation’s youth to thrive in the digital age and contribute to sustainable development at home and worldwide.
Starting in the 2025-2026 academic year, the Ministry of Education introduced artificial intelligence (AI) as a subject across public-schools, from kindergarten through Grade 12. The move aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to understand core AI principles and its real-life applications to develop innovative solutions that serve society. The initiative aligns with the rapidly evolving demands of the digital age.
The UAE is among the first countries in the world to integrate AI as a formal subject within the school curricula, reinforcing its leadership in leveraging advanced technology to develop human capital and foster future skills from the early stages of education. This reflects the nation’s efforts in building a knowledge-based, innovative-driven economy.
This project is one of the Ministry’s most prominent national educational initiatives, aligned with the UAE’s directives to strengthen its global position in AI and digital transformation.
